NDISAC Live! Spring 2019
April 9 @ 8:00 am - April 10 @ 5:00 pm
NDISAC Live! is April 9 – 10, 2019 in Bedford, Massachusetts. The upcoming NDISAC Live! Spring 2019 event is a two-day conference featuring sessions by and of interest to members of our NDISAC community. Several of our sessions will be combined, but many will allow attendees to pick relevant topics specific to their interests in Security Engineering and Cyber Threat Intelligence. The scope and nature of collaboration among attendees will allow each of you to gain tremendous insights from your peers with a direct return of value to your organizations.
This NDISAC Live! Spring 2019 will include:
- Security Engineering: The Security Engineering sessions will delve deeply into key efforts underway by NDISAC working groups that are of interest to and that will inform security practices of our participants. Discussions will cross multiple topics ranging from DLP to DevSecOps and best practices associated with Windows Hello for Business© configuration. The latter topic follows up on our last (and prepares for our next) ‘DIB in Seattle’ security engagement with several of our service vendors. Security Engineering and Architecture breakout sessions will allow SMEs across NDISAC working groups to publish concepts, configurations, and strategies. Registered attendees will also be expected to provide valuable perspectives and input.
- Cyber Threat: Presentations from fellow analysts will provide threat intel discussions and breakout sessions on cyber threat intelligence and current threats and trends. Dialogue among analysts will further develop the skills of analysts through collaboration among peers via the sharing of cyber threat best practices. Attendees will develop mentor and collaborative peer relationships to improve the level of play among analysts. Also planned is an NDISAC FIRST…a cyber Red/Blue team activity enhancing Cyber offensive and defensive skills that are suitable for analysts at all skill levels with challenges including: web-based attacks, windows & linux privilege escalation, packet capture & log analysis, steganography, reverse engineering, cryptography, and more!
All NDISAC members are welcome to attend, however, this NDISDAC Live! event is targeted at Security Engineers/Architects and Cyber Analysts active in threat intel and incident response.
