On December 14 (Mon) FireEye briefed its latest findings on the SolarWinds compromise and discovery of the SUNBURST malware to a ND-ISAC members-only webinar. The company provided the latest information, including guidance on how to detect this attack, and answered questions with member companies of the National Defense Information Sharing and Analysis Center™ (National Defense ISAC™ or ND-ISAC™).
“We thank FireEye for their discovery of this supply chain attack and for leading with transparency to present to a full house of our member company cybersecurity analysts, security engineers, and execs,” said Steve Shirley, Executive Director at ND-ISAC. “Obviously, our members are intensely focused on this threat and the impact to their companies and the Defense Industrial Base. ND-ISAC’s trusted and secure sharing platform enables member companies to monitor the ongoing cybersecurity event, share proprietary observations, and provide mutual support to members.”
